SEGA cubicle prank turns a desk into Green Hill Zone

Two telling photos showed up on SEGA’s Flickr stream last night, and they told a tale of awesome co-workers, laughs, and one of the coolest cubicle pranks we’ve ever seen.

Aaron Webber, Community Manager for Sonic 4, came in only to find that his desk has been turned into Green Hill Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog—complete with a paper Sonic, gold rings, trees, and sunflowers:

The SEGA blog claims video will be coming soon.

Are your co-workers this cool…?

Update: 08/11/2010 for video!

UPSLynx that is SO sweet. If I were him, I'd keep my desk that way.

primesuspect Update: Added the video today :)

UPSLynx The amount of work that went into that is staggering. Very impressive.

SEGA might have some of the most boring looking cubicles of all time, but all that Sonic merch would be so sweet to work around.
  4. Koreish
Koreish That's something I would picture Valve doing GG Sega GG.

Annes ICHQ could really use one of those Sonic hats. I hear if you preorder Sonic Colors from Gamestop you can get one. Just sayin'. Imagine the fun we would have.

The hat might be worth the purchase of the game...even if it means preordering...from GameStop.

primesuspect Lol. Lynx's desk is next to this. OH ICRONTIC, HOW YOU DO IT.
  8. Bandrik
Bandrik Love the papercraft. I am so jelly -- my own desk at work only has one piece of flair: a small Rainbow Dash figure. Any more makes my boss flip =/

By the way, video is broken. "This video does not exist". Boo!

UPSLynx I frigging met Aaron today and now we're buds. I don't even my life right now.
