Serious Sam HD: Second Encounter released

Well, well, well… It’s amazing what turns up in HD these days. When Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter came out late last year, it was a really sweet game with fantastic graphics. Nothing can be finer than some good old fragging, Serious Sam HiDef style. Well, Devolver Digital and Croteam have teamed up again to release Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter.

This iteration of the Serious Sam franchise relies on the powerful Serious Engine 3 and adds a whole bunch of new features. From the press release:

Various Environments and Secrets! – Unleash mayhem on 3 different spectacular worlds: South America, ancient Mesopotamia and medieval Europe. Discover over 130 secrets including over 15 brand NEW! ones hidden in the fray.
Unique Enemies and Bosses! – Fight with 27 nightmarish warriors in Mentals’ army, including old favorites from The First Encounter like Beheaded Kamikaze, Syrian Werebull and Kleer Skeleton. Go head to head against 5 new enemies and 3 new Bosses.
