You found the friendliest gaming & tech geeks around. Say hello!
I'm putting a DnD campaign together and want to use an old monster from 1e, the Paper Dragon. You see my Grandmother actually wrote the article that they used as the basis for the original monster manual entry, and this being my first time DMing I felt it would be cool to use it, however it appears the beast is not in the 5e monster manuals or modern manuals in general, so I am stuck updating it into 5e, now I found the 1e stats but it doesn't have hit dice listed and the damage indicators do not appear to follow the same damage calculation mechanics (eg X-dX). Any suggestions appreciated and stats to follow.
