    You can't use that video card. It's PCI Express and your mobo is AGP.

    Radeon 9800 Pro can be had cheaply, the GeForce 6800 GT is sincerely better, but nearly twice as much.

    Couple things:
    1. The power supply that comes with that case is better than the one you're buying
    2. That case & PSU (EITHER PSU) is not likely to be able to handle that system, from a thermal standpoint or a power standpoint.

    Oh, and also... the video performance with that card is going to be really, really poopy.

    //EDIT
    One more thing I just saw; PC Chips mobos are just about the worst you can get. :-/

    //EDIT 2
    You might consider different RAM; CL3 is awfully slow.

    //EDIT 3
    A hard drive with an 8MB buffer might be a good idea...

    PC Chips motherboards feature:

    Poor Tech support.

    Uneven quality, from just below fair (and good is better than fair, imho-- my word grading scale for mobos is Excellent, Good, Fair, Bad, Lemon) to pure lemon, within same model, for the BEST track record models of PC Chips mobos.

    Abit, Asus, MSI, some FIC, definitely Tyan, all better.

    Unless the PC Chips boards were less than $10.00 I would not buy a motherboard from them.

    Why the sark mouse? they are usually over priced & no better that a normal ms optical mouse. Personally I think they are ugly as sin as well.

    For a case you might like to look at the Antec SLK3700, comes with a decent 350w psu, Geeky has his own opinions about this case (no offence meant Geeky) but for normal use I think its great value.

    For motherboards I agree you can do alot better than PCchips, boody awful quality. Abit are good but you pay abit more.

    I think since you mentioned gaming I would go more this route and add a good monitor and go with Logitech KB and mouse. If price is too high then we can adjust from there.

    Geeky, what case or psu would you reccomend. BTW, he would really like to keep this system under 800 bucks, preferably around 750. And thanks for al the help everyone.

    I put in the same items on newegg, double checked, and got a total of 737.71 :-/

    After adding a monitor, it will be way more than he is willing to spend. He wants to keep it below 800, preferably around 750. Anyway we could drop the price a bit?

    I didn't add shipping so that could be the diff. I went all out on the mobo, CPU and HSF so you could sub;

    MSI "K7N2 Delta2-LSR" NVIDIA nForce2 Ultra 400 Chipset Motherboard For AMD Socket A CPU -RETAIL

    Model# K7N2 DELTA2-LSR
    Item # N82E16813130475 $63.00 + $5.00

    instead of the NF7-S ($79.50 + $2.00) and save $13.50.

    Then sub;

    AMD Sempron 2400+ 1.667GHz, Socket A Processor - Retail

    Model# SDA2400BOX
    Item # N82E16819104210 $60.00 (Free Shipping)

    instead of the XP2600-M ($97.00 + $1.00) and save $48.00, then you would not need the HSF listed above and save another ($40.00 + $6.00). Then drop the burner and save another $69.00. Then sub;

    Maxtor 40GB 7200RPM IDE Hard Drive, Model 6E040L0, OEM Drive only

    Model# 6E040L0
    Item # N82E16822140133 $47.00 + $3.00

    instead of the 80GB SATA drive ($60.00/ Free Shipping) and save $10.00. Then you would be $186.00 cheaper for roughly $551 shipped but it would not be as good. On the brighter side it would still be a good system knock the socks off what you originally had listed. You could probably work out the rest if he wanted to upgrade anything else.
