So what MMORPGs does everyone play? Why do you play that particular one? I have seen people posting on WoW and Runescape but thats it. I play Final Fantasy 11. The amount of things you can do in FFXI blows me away. Thats why I think i play it. Fishing, foods, crafting, astronomy....the list goes on and on....

once you get into it, they're all the same. slightly different race / class structures, but they all have similar economies and skills

WoW for me. A little bit more simple than most MMORPGs it seems (requires less time from me to do well) . I enjoy it very much.

I played Asherons Call / Asheron Call Dark Majesty for 18 months - loved it, left it because I could not afford the time.

Played WoW for three months and got bored so cancelled it.

OK, explain to me what is so good about WoW. I'm very bored with SWG right now, there's no story or anything. I want to try matrix online, but i'm not paying $50. Same for WoW.

I play WoW. Skoreshil, level 36 orc warlock, on Medivh. I can't wait for my mount! My alt is a 16 troll rouge. His name is Jelar. I like the random names it generates.

I must agree with you. I used to play Everquest 2 and thought it was the best game ever. Then I got into WoW and omg it's great. I don't have time for playing MMORPG's that much anymore (school, work, girlfriend, etc..) but when I do have time I feel like I auctually accomplish something in a short peroid of time. In EQ2 I felt like I had to have alot of time to accomplish anything, and even then I didn't feel like I accomplished much.

I liked SWG, but a whole bunch of glitches deleted all my stuff about the same time as my paid time ran out, so I stopped playing. If I had time, I'd go back to SWG or start WoW. But if I had more time, there's a lot of things I'd probably do before playing a MMORPG again.
