Problem Booting 2GB Rally...
Hello again folks - it's been awhile but I'm looking to the OCZ folks for a lil' assistance.
I currently have a 2GB Rally flash drive that I'm attempting to make bootable.
I also have setup a Lexar JumpDrive as bootable for testing. The premise being that if the Lexar boots I know the BIOS of the system I'm using is capable of booting from a USB flash drive.
On multiple, different systems I've been able to boot from the Lexar fine; however, the OCZ just doesn't want to boot. The drive works fine otherwise but for some reason is not recognized by these systems as a bootable device.
The procedure I used to make these drives bootable was the HP Format utility.
The only difference I've noticed between the Lexar and the OCZ is that when I plug both into Windows XP, the Lexar shows up as a "Hard Disk Drive" under My Computer and the OCZ shows up under "Devices with Removable Storage".
Any assistance/direction would be appreciated.
