Hi

I have just received my new Athlon 64 X2 4200+.
It was quite hard to get a hold of, it seems that AMD has problems meeting demands. The shop where I ordered the rest of the gear would have it in stock the 22 of december 2006. Needless to say I ordered the CPU someplace else. :eek3:

Well back to topic.
Does anyone know the potential in this puppy?
I have the complete stepping for you guys:

In the old days, there was OC databases using AthlonXP.
Does that exist for the Athlon64 or the Athlon64 X2 as well?

That's a fairly new Windsor-class Athlon 64. You should get 2.8-3GHz out of it easily. That's the same core that'll be used in the new 4x4 Socket F Opterons, topping out at 3GHz on the FX-74.
