dr_mike and I have conspired to create...

Once we leave the dorms... within a year, we've decided to set up a supercomputing cluster :)

we'll probably start with only 8 or so machines but eventually I hope to scale it up to 16 or 32...

Anyhow, we will have a machine folding under the name ant_farm for a while until we get this project up and running..

    the design is definitely based on *this*, but we've got our own ideas too ;)

    currently the plan is 8x 1.6GHz durons on mobo's with onboard video&lan. shouldn't be too expensive :)
