i get errors with mmswitch.ax playing back video in web browser

i get an ewrror whenevfer i try to play a movie (cept from youtube) on my comp...now all ive done is install itunes... so i GUESS it could be it...but how..what can i do?
ALSO
I have used inet and mozilla and i got the same error each time

    Normally I can diagnose errors without knowing the message, but in this case I can't.

    sorry for no good english

    basically...whenver i try to play a movie from gamespot.com or any other streaming vid, i end up getting some crazy web browser error. At first it happened with mozilla, so i tried to give inet explorer a try... Unfortunatly, I encountered the same error

    A google search for mmswitch.ax brought me to a messageboard where someone seems to be having a similar problem. The solution as posted by Shades29A:

    try typing this in Run:

    regsvr32 /u mmswitch.ax

    that should take care of the problem ...
    it worked for me :)

    Thanks, but all I did was a quick google search. It was right in the first result, too. I've never even used that command before. :P
