I caved big time. I just couldn't resist. I mean, only $92 shipped for a brand spankin' new XP2500+ Barton! How could I say no? It's going to replace my 1700+ Palomino. How could I say no?

It will help my F@H numbers. How could I say no?

You are not the only one TD. I think I will cave before the end of the summer for a new mobo, CPU, and RAM.

I was one of first to get a 2500+ and I love it. It's a nippy little bugga!

She's currently running at 10x200 stable as a rock :)

You made a wise purchase there chap

I've also had one for a while. If I didn't have this stupid PC2700 RAM, I'd probably be where Shorty is in the OC department. :o

I know the feeling, TD. Newegg beckoned to me last week with the 2500 and I got my butt eat out by my wife for getting it.;D ;D

Anyways, It overclocks real well so far, have it up to 204X11 on my A7N8X at 1.725 volts.:D I still haven't found the ceiling on it yet either.:D

My dad, who just turned 71 this week, wanted to upgrade his computer (he had my old Athlon 850). Last month I ordered him all new stuff, including the 2500+ Barton (we stuck 1024MB of PC2700 ram in there, too!). Now he calls me long-distance nearly every day to brag about how fast it runs.

See my sig and you'll know why I'm so jealous.

My set I want to get is curretly $284. A 2500+ would add another $50 or so to it.
