Buddy of mine says he has 3 ps2's and a computer he wants to network to play socom 2 on. He says the way its set up....he can only hear a few guys at a time and he can never hear any of his roomates. Its very weird who/when they can hear. Like he can only hear 4 guys and another roomate can only hear like a different 6. I'm thinking port forwarding has to be done, or utilizing DMZ....they have a linksys 4 port befsr41 and a hub. They have the router feeding their pc and then feeding the hub...which subsequently feeds the 3 ps2's.

Any help?

You don't need DMZ or forwarding on a LAN. That's WAN to LAN service requests only.

Ditch the hub, plug everything into the router, and see what happens.

Its not for a lan....its so they can all play online. I don't know jack about PS2 networking....never even booted one up.

Ah. Your initial description sounded like they wanted to play on a home LAN (You didn't mention online play).

I'd still connect everything to the router, and remove the hub. See what happens.
