64kb cluster size on raid 0 array with 64kb striping block

is it possible to do a fresh install of windows xp on a raid 0 array with a 64 kb striping block formatted with 64 kb cluster size? somebody told me that it might not work properly coz a fresh install of windows xp will have the compression on as default and it only supports 4kb cluster size.

Yes of course it works fine. And XP does not have any compression on as a default.

Unless you have a scsi controller and drive you would be much better served with a stripe in the 16k or 32k range with matching cluster size. IDE/SATA needs a smaller stripe.
