Mobo goes bye bye

edited January 2007 in Hardware
Today just when i started the pc i see on the screen overclocking failed. Then a really bad smell comes to my nose. Turn off the pc, take everything out to see what is going on. Turn on the mobo without anything on and boom. A really big spark inside the cpu socket and a nice fire.
Trying now to sell everything left from the pc so i can build a nice fast and cool core 2 duo.

As bad as these kinds of failures are it’s always nice to be able to build a machine without justifying it to yourself/significant other first!

If your machine died you have to replace it right? :P
