Please Help Win32.Trojan.Rx

Hello and thanks for your help in advance. You guys are doing the Lord’s work over here! My pc is running extremely slow and I get lots of notices that my pc is harmed by spyware. I also get a notice that I am infected by Win32.Trojan.Rx. Many times I type in a URL I am redirected to a Windows security site that tells me I need to get rid of my spyware. I have followed all of your instructions up to this point and nothing seems to help. Your assistance is GREATLY appreciated. I was not able to rund a PandaActive scan because evrytime I tried to run one I was redirected to the windows security site.

    Please run HijackThis and place a checkmark by the following entries:

    You should print out these instructions, or copy them to a Notepad file for reading while in Safe Mode, because you will not be able to connect to the Internet to read from this site.

    Please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :
    • Restart your computer
    • After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
    • Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu with options should appear;
    • Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press "Enter".
    • Choose your usual account.
    Once in Safe Mode, open the SmitfraudFix folder again and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
    Select option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and press "Enter" to delete infected files.

    You will be prompted : "Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry ?"; answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter" in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.

    The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found); answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter".


    The tool may need to restart your computer to finish the cleaning process; if it doesn't, please restart anyway into normal Windows. A text file will appear onscreen, with results from the cleaning process; please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply along with a new HijackThis log.
    The report can also be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

    Warning : running option #2 on a non infected computer will remove your Desktop background.

    Ok I did what was requested of me. Before I post my log I want to let you know that whenevr I start my pc i get the following message: "Windows cannot find C:\Windows\C:\Windows\wuaclt.exe 'Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again."     Please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :
    • Restart your computer

    • Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu with options should appear;
    • Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press "Enter".

    Select option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and press "Enter" to delete infected files.

    You will be prompted : "Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry ?"; answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter" in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.

    The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found); answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter".


    The tool may need to restart your computer to finish the cleaning process; if it doesn't, please restart anyway into normal Windows. A text file will appear onscreen, with results from the cleaning process; please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply along with a new HijackThis log.
    The report can also be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

    Warning : running option #2 on a non infected computer will remove your Desktop background.

    Close all other windows except HijackThis and press "Fix Checked". Then close HijackThis and restart the computer.


    Download Avenger from here:

    Open the program. Check the 'Input script manually' option.
    Click the Magnifying Glass icon.
    In the box that opens, paste this:
    Files to delete:
    C:\WINDOWS\C:\WINDOWS\wuauclt.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\ljdsrngo.exe
    and click 'Done'

    Click the Traffic Light icon to start the program, and OK the prompts to reboot your PC.

    Post the Avenger output.txt (which you can find at C:\Avenger\.txt), as well as a new HijackThis log. :)

    Close all other windows except HijackThis and press "Fix Checked". Then close HijackThis and restart the computer.


    Download Avenger from here:
    http://swandog46.geekstogo.com/

    Open the program. Check the 'Input script manually' option.
    Click the Magnifying Glass icon.
    In the box that opens, paste this:

    and click 'Done'

    Click the Traffic Light icon to start the program, and OK the prompts to reboot your PC.

    Post the Avenger output.txt (which you can find at C:\Avenger\.txt), as well as a new HijackThis log. :)

    Its running GREAT!!! :D Thanks for all of your help. I just strated taking online classes and it was imperative I get my pc fixed. Your help was phenomenal. :)
