PCI-E,PCI-E x 16, and PCI 2.0?

O.K I understand that PCI-E x 16 is alot better than PCI-E and that we now have PCI 2.0.

1. I take it that 2.0 is better than x 16?

2. How much better?

3. When I get my new MOBO is it worth getting a 2.0?

4. Will a PCI-E x 16 card run better on a 2.0 slot?
5. Any other info or links would be great.:cheers:

    PCI-Express 2.0 > PCI-Express 1.0. By 1%.

    The cards/slots are backwards compatible.
