 I have an integrated audio board in my PC and external mic that is very low despite the fact all levels are on MAX. Do note that I have a cheap extranal mic but before I reformated my PC the microphone worked just fine. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem so my wonderful voice can be heard on TF2.

Thanks

I don't think it's his mic... we all remember gaming with him before his PC took the biggest dump in the world. And we more than heard him loud and clear.

I think he's got Gnomequeen syndrome

Have a look in the system mixer for a mic boost and make sure it is checked and turned up. If you are using Vista go into control panel - sounds - input and click on mic tab then turn up the mic boost
