Mobile gaming...
I am thinking about picking up a laptop with part of my tax refund. A gaming laptop would let me game online at mobile hotspots and get away from my home satellite connection, not to mention provide me with entertainment when traveling.
This Asus number has caught my eye:

Am I to assume that the Geforce 9650M 1GB is a superior mobile video solution compared to the Geforce 9800M 512MB? All indications would say "yes", but I am completely ignorant of Nvidia's hardware at this point as the only video cards I've bought in years have been ATI.
What is going on with these model numbers?
Any other comments or suggestions with respect to the notebook I linked?

I should also note I wrote a laptop guide awhile back that still stands true in what to think about when buying a laptop... How to Choose a Laptop
The 9800M GT is a same clockspeed 9800GT to my understanding. It's like having what I have. IN YOUR PANTS!...Well maybe not in your pants--YET. But leave it to Nvidia to offer gaming grade graphics in netbooks.
TL;DR=9800m GT is like the real video card, the 9650M is like a weak 9600. Go 9800 for games.
