RAM Question about a Mac

Uhhh....I may be a n00b but I think this may be a problem. As you can see by the picture I have attached there is only 5MB of available RAM on my computer. I am currently running 3 programs; iChat, Firefox, and Twhirl (only because Tweetdeck shuts my computer down). After consultation with UPSLynx I have decided to turn to the experts. Can anyone tell me of a way to test the integrity of my RAM. I only have a 512MB internal stick. Like I said, I may be a n00b, but even I know that those 3 programs dont take up that much memory.

Please help me and my pitiful Mac.

    And they're not.

Wired - Data that cannot be cached to disk - usually system stuff
    Active - Recently used data
Inactive - Not recently used, but remains in memory until the space is needed (speeds up relaunching applications, fast access to previously used data etc)
Free - Not used at all

For all intents and purposes you can combine the Inactive + Free sections as your free RAM

    More info here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1342?viewlocale=en_US

As for integrity testing, memtest works just fine on Intel Macs.
