At the grand canyon, I took a bunch of pictures with varying exposure, planning on turning them into hdr photos. Anyone have suggestions for software to do this? Or perhaps tutorials?

Photomatix is all I ever hear of; that said, back in the day I used Silverfast scanning software with fantastic results, and I hear tell they have an HDR solution as well. Knowing the intensity with which they make software, I imagine it has to be good, but I have no experience with it. All I know is that they take imaging very seriously. It might be worth a trial download.

Yeah, I only know of PMatix and PShop. If you get a chance to play with Silverfast, let us know. If you want to toss me your RAWs, we can have a shootout - Silverfast vs PhotoMatix.
