Meaning: folding clients are going back online.

When no internet is available, it's hard to fold. Can't get or send results of work packets.

If you don't mind my asking, what happened to your connection in the first place?

I moved. Due to the circumstances, it also entailed a switch of providers.

Gotcha. Let us know if you get that Phenom II project going. I'm more than a little curious about what kind of numbers it can put out.

Initially, the CPU seems to be pulling about 2500 PPD running 4 cores @ 3.23GHz on XP x64, with 2 SMP clients running. I'm curious to see whether it would do better or worse on vista.

The HD4850s are stuck in an "error - couldn't get work packet and no other work to do." loop, and so I don't have any numbers on them yet.

Seems no better or worse than a C2Q. I was kinda having high hopes for it.

What exactly gave you that hope?

Well, nothing really. That's why it's "hope".

the HD4850s are pulling between 2k and 2.5k PPD each, which is essentially how one acted in my E6600 system. Between that the and CPU, the system is capable of 6-7k PPD. Not too shabby.
