Certain reviews point at the 250 as superior but some point at the 4890, from your guys experience, which is better? What is the better overclocker?

Windows 7 rates the GTS 250 @ 6.9 the 4890 gets a rating of 6.0. how come the scores are so different arent these cards supposed to be similar in performance?

well, the whole reason im even asking this is because i traded my GTS 250 for an HD 4890, I feel like im getting worse performance in GTA4 but better performance in other games, like GRID and CS: Source is there a reason why the GTS 250 handles GTA4 better?

There's no concrete answer. Perhaps GTA4 leverages GPU routines the 250 is better at. Perhaps NVIDIA drivers have better optimization for GTA4.

That said, the 4890 is handily superior in virtually every modern title. It's so because it is a relatively recent flagship card, while the 250 is only slightly better than a budget GPU.
