Remote Backup Storage

I'm looking for an easy to use remote backup system for my parents computers. I know there are lots of places that do it just wondering if anyone has one they have used and has worked well.

It doesn't have to be free it can be 15-20 bucks a month if it makes it easier to use. I want a gui where you can select the folders you want to keep backed up and forget about it and it takes care of it for you.

How much space do they need?

If 5 gigs will cover them I highly recommend windows mesh. Perfect for backing up data as well as synchronizing it between multiple computers.

I would recommend carbonite. It is an online unlimited backup option. 1 year of service is only $54.95 or around $5 per month. I have used it for 3 years now and 2 full restores. The first backup takes a while, but it is incremental after that.

Seconding Carbonite. Another one similar to them is Backblaze.

If they're running on a desktop OS, either will work.

If they need to back up network or external drives, they'll need Backblaze.

If they're running on a server OS, they'll need Carbonite.

Backblaze also automatically takes care of just about all data types, where Carbonite's default doesn't cover some types of media (can't remember which, now that I've got everything set up).

Both are unlimited storage and essentially the same price.
