Retirement week
This weekend I have retired two of the most respected pieces of computing hardware I have ever had.
The first is a Q6600, which left its socket to a Q9550. I will always remember it as the most impressive processor (for the price) I have ever had. However, the new Q9550 is running at 4GHz (vs. 3.3 GHz) and 5C cooler with the same TRUE-120 heatsink and motherboard
The second retirement is my trusty WRT54G-TM router which left its position as the main router at our home network to a Trendnet TEW-632brp router. Both of them have DD-WRT, so reconfiguration was very easy. Recently, wireless-n capable devices took the majority at home and my testing showed that this cheap Trendnet router in a mixed g/n environment had better performance than the best wireless-g router in existence (that is WRT54G-TM).

Due to sale questions on Q6600, I will post in the trading forum.
