I'll keep this in mind when I get back into walks/runs. Have you tried Google MyTracks? I used it for a bit for my LunchTime walks but was not satisfied with it's reliability. It didn't seem to have any kind of reality check. I'm walking but if it triangulated me a half mile over, it would record that and that would throw off my average and maximum speed along with my distance.
