Have you joined the Icrontic team yet? I think the link is in there, but I think I can't see it because I've already joined the challenge. Not sure - the new site design has me a bit confused.

Greg, how many times a day do you walk? You should count one per day....

the problem comes down to endomondo on my G1 eats through the battery so fast that I can't use it all 6+ hours I am walking (pausing it when walking/GPS usage etc.)

therefor I have to enter my route in manually, which means I have to enter in 25 workouts per day. (I park, walk a loop delivering mail, then drive to next loop, repeat)

so, for the challenge of November (most workouts for the month) you can just put me down as having 23 workouts (amount of days I'll carry mail)

Okay, I did a very rough draw of my route as one workout (6.98miles)

I'll just save the template and use it the days I deliver mail ;)

I can't seem to see this challenge after the site update?

Obviously it's still out there, because Greg's in there now.

Think I need to be invited again

I've already invited you, and it won't allow me to invite you again... It doesn't show any invites?

I think the 'invite' popup didn't carry over to the new site. So when I was lazy and didn't accept the invite, then the site changed, I was still in an 'invited' status, but wasn't getting prompted to join the challenge.

I probably could have searched by name for the challenge in retrospect.

ps - thx for the link :)

I made a toned-down version of Operation: ICAF for the Endomondo team.
Score "Good" (74.9) or better on the 2011 USAF fitness test

Finally figured out their charts. I don't really run, ever, but challenge accepted anyway.

I thought everyone quit this thing. The last challenge I accepted, itlooked like it was just Joe and I, so I didn't bother. :/

What's this fitness test thing about?

I think that is an error in the Endomondo site display. To me it looked like just Joe and I, although we still had the correct rank according to everyone else in the challenge. I'm not sure why it doesn't display other competitors...

Anyone still using this? I am looking at different run tracking apps right now and trying this one out. Figured I'd pull a thread from the edge at the same time.

I use it, its awesome. The pro version is worth the few bucks just for the ability to get split time feedback against your past runs.
  • ardichokeardichoke Icrontian
I plan on using it again once I start couch to 5k. Have they fixed it so you can manually add run distances in the app yet? That always used to be a pain in the ass.
  • MAGICMAGIC Doot Doot Furniture City, Michigan Icrontian
Do you mean manually add a goal distance?

Do you mean manually add a goal distance?
Manually add distance run. Last time I used the app, there was no way to enter a distance run for a workout, so I would have to go on the web after timing my run with the app and enter my distance there. When you do most of your running on a treadmill it makes the app significantly less helpful.

Manual entry is right in the app now. You can put in your own date/time/distance/cals.

    Yeah it is.

Going to finally start adding my runs again. Not using the app at the moment, don't want to sweat up my gnex :/
  • ardichokeardichoke Icrontian
Sweet. Reinstalled it and bought the Pro version. Now they just need to finish installing the gym (or I need to sack up and get a membership at PlanetFitness)
