Problems with Dell Studio 1737 Booting up
Hello All,
I know I haven't been here for a while, but I am usually welcomed back with open arms... Let's see if we can tackle this thing together. When I push the power button on my laptop (regardless of whether or not the battery is in) I get a high pitched whine for a few seconds (no fan spinning). I have a video of it... During the first press it actually went further than what it normally does. I am thinking it is a motherboard issue... Thankfully I was able to salvage the harddrive using some weird "external" harddrive thing picked up at microcenter (i think kingwin makes it) Let me know what you think!
