Howdy, Icrontic!
I haven't posted in about 4 years, but wanted to announce my proud purchase of this video card!

I did my research, and felt like it's a helluva deal for a guy that's currently running an 8800 GTS.
Thoughts/Opinions?

If Gargoyle, or BuddyJesus sees this, holla!

As someone who was rocking a 8800 GT up until 3 months ago, welcome to the the upgrade club. That chipset was one hell of a workhorse, bought it when it was new. Definitely got my use out of it.

    Pretty awesome piece of hardware.
  • I'm currently on the GTX660 from EVGA and it's serving me really well so far. How much better is this one? It certainly looks nice :3

Thank you for the benchmarks, Fatcat! I actually made this purchase after only looking at a small handful of benchmarks. This only reinforces my confidence in the purchase (and it just shipped!). *sigh* -Goodbye, gaming technology from 2006, and hello Metro Last Light at a playable framerate!
