I invested a couple of hours into leveling my Worgen mage to 9, but I decided tonight to scrap that. I'm gonna go priest. I'll re-roll tonight and let you guys know what the name is.

This thread really blew up, but I'm away for most of the day so not big surprise.
I've started a DeathKnight on Kel'Thuzad for the lvl boost and it's something I know how to play. I also got Zealock to join us and together we're leveling dwarves up form scratch. Him a paladin and me a monk. We'll probably trade healing and tanking as we go.
So what addons do people generally use these days? It's been a couple of years since my last go at this game. Not sure if there's any big new essentials that have come up or if there's new mods that have taken the place of old ones that aren't updated anymore, or what.

Browse through the mostliked/monthly downloads/total downloads. That will pretty much cover most of the bases. There are some other random ones, but get back into the game and start thinking about what you want changed. There is most assuredly something to fix it.

Maybe not everyone? I dunno I wasn't around the first time. I probably won't dragging my PC to Detroit was a lot of work and extra baggage that I didn't need on the train.
Anyways I'm enjoying this game so far, though I haven't bought more than the first free month (Included in the upgrade) as I'm not sure if my enjoyment will continue past said month.

I wasn't around for the first round of what you're speaking of, but I have a hope that we'll get so much gaming ridiculousness out where (hopefully) getting together is more of a, "fuck I haven't seen you in a while, how's life, have a beer, let's sword fight, make out...wait, what?" type setting

I believe there are a core group of us that are interested in raiding. I do not yet know (nor do I want to push to find out) if there are enough people who are interested yet. We are kind of waiting to see if everyone is having fun while getting geared up to raid.
TL:DR; There is a possibility, but it is not known when or if this will happen.

the guild so far seems pretty split between "I HAZ TO HAVE BEST ROTATION NUMBERS CRUNCH!" and "i just bitch slapped a squirrel!"
