Bluetooth audio

Hey, kids -

I'm looking for a replacement for my 'alarm clock,' but since my alarm clocks are all essentially my phones lately, and since I'm not a huge fan of docks and wires, I'm looking essentially for a Bluetooth alarm clock. My criteria:

  • Excellent sound
  • Bluetooth (or NFC - it'll be used with Android phones)
  • Actual alarm clock functionality is a bonus
  • Not necessarily portable; it'll spend most of its time plugged in above my bed. Portability's a plus, but looking good and being functional in a static location is the primary goal.

Anybody have recommendations? I've been looking at Cambridge Audio's Minx line and the Ultimate Ears Boom, but I'd take a good IC rec over a lot of other reviews.

Minx Go really surprised me when I reviewed it - sound quality was much better than I'd expected. Only problem I have with their stuff is the price premium attached to them. That seems to be more of an issue with the market than the product, unfortunately.

For a travel-ready speaker, it really filled a (small) room very well. I can't imagine their larger Minx products being any less awesome.

Yeah, your Go review got me looking at them.
