A search for Back Alley D&D returned this.

I have personally witnessed fist fights break out over D&D, provided it took a serious amount of alcohol.

Gets even better when the participants have Latex or 'Boffer' swords lying around and proceed to try to beat each other into unconsciousness with glorified PVC piping and foam.

Your dad never ceases to amaze and amuse me.

Of course, Brian, you realize that one day you will have a similar conversation with Kyle and/or Perry...probably over some fancy holographic widget that you think should be for D&D but is really for some 5th dimension cyber zero grav macro hockey league.

Virtually all polyhedral dice are off-balance due to the numerical engravings if nothing else. You didn't want to play with fair dice anyway; they roll terrible ability scores.
