Same problem here. I end up reseting it pretty often. It is really a hassle.

Well, I ran a bunch of speed tests on my Comcast cable and they were all different (from 2kbps to 6.5kbps depending on which speed test I ran), but just for the sake of posting some results, here is an average one.

Im sorry to hear that, how long does it take you to upload a work unit at that speed? I mean, 6.5 kilobits per second, that comes out too .8 kilobytes per second, man, that is so fast that it is on fire....in 1962.

I can only imagine how long it takes to upload a workunit.:p

Here is my cable connection, I tested on all the servers, but they were all pretty much the same speed, so I will just post a few, it looks like I am capped at 4 megabits.

I got a faster pipe to Amsterdam than London, and Amsterdam is further away from me.

Thank you for this thread. The other day I tried it, and was getting consistently about 3.5mb down/400K up...

This would be fine, except I am PAYING for 6d/1u... So I called my provider, and convinced them to send a technician out (which is always like pulling teeth)

He discovered that my cable modem was too old to support the higher speeds and replaced it. Now I am getting what I pay for :D
