I'm not sure of the problem, however, there is an updated Java that is out. Maybe updating would fix your problem?

    http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
Scroll down to where it says
Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 9
    .

If you want further instructions, let me know.

It looks like this is a server-side error - the server cannot send you the class, for one reason or another. You should only be getting this error when you're trying to view some sort of webcam online. Is this the case?
  • edited October 2006
    Yes it is - www.torchbridge.com

There's nothing you can do about it. It's a problem with their server. I can't view it either, and I get the same error.

Here is another website I can't get to & believe it to be Java related
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1qyAfxLkeg&mode=related&search=
can you help? I have downloaded the flash player so that shouldn't be the problem but they mention having javascript turned off??? Not sure how to turn it back on.

    Any help out there?????

    I don't think it's java related - youtube doesn't use any java.

    What browser are you using?
  • edited October 2006
    IE 6.0
Strange that it mentioned having javascript turned off when I clicked on it.
    Can you get to it

Yes, youtube is a major site, it's not having problems. This is something wrong with your computer.

    First try this:

    in IE:

Tools --> options --> advanced --> Restore Defaults
  • edited October 2006
Done - tried the same - same thing.
Here is the message I get:
Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Click here to get the latest flash player.
