we have had Comcast 8mb for a while now, And the other day I talked my dad into upgrading even faster to I think 16mb. But I have to pay him 10$ a month.... but its worth it.

Although If im not mistaken, I think Comcast has 16mb and 32mb now, and I think they charged us for 32mb judging my the speed tests at both these sites.

Yeah, maybe "only $14/month" when bundled in with other services. I pay $39 for 7Mb/512kbps cable without any other services; no TV, etc

If it really is only $14/month for those speeds, I'm moving.

It's just Comcast Cable, No TV, no phone, none of that extra stuff o.O

Now I have comcast and it's way over 14 I do have tv and phone too,
But only cause it's cheaper for the net with everything.
I think you got on some offer they're giving, but it will change. Give it a
    couple months.

I have had the same plan for 7 years. Only thing I recently did was buy a better modem.

It's suppose to be 25/25 but it's hard to find a server that can max out the upload.

I have 7Mbps/512Kbps, but for some odd reason, Speedtest.net likes to say I have 17Mbps down or higher. Is this the TimeWarner speedboost working?

Updated the connection today to RoadRunner's "Turbo Premium" for $55/month

    555167308.png

Upload still slower than I'd like, but better than the 384kbps I was at before. As soon as FiOS is available I'm all over it.

I have AT&T and had 3/1 for ages. A couple months ago I upgraded to 6/1 for only $5 more, steal. Unfortunately they lowered it from 6/2 to 6/1 just before I upgraded, oh well. I believe it's $35/month but it's tied in with phone and TV.
