Windows 7 RC1 in May

  Is there a no-reinstall upgrade path from RC1 to RTM? Can I just buy the retail license from within the OS when it is finally released, so I dont have to clean install when the final version is available?

  It is unknown if RC1 will be able to upgrade to RTM.

  It is unknown if RC1 will be upgradable. But it's best to plan on it not being. In either case the recommendation is to not upgrade even if it is possible.
