    No support for XP?

4 480's ought to make a pretty good picture even if they are Nvidia and not ATI video cards.

I'm running these, and saw a 5-7% performance increase. I am only running 1 GTX480 SC. Bot overall a step in the right direction. I cant wait for some more mature drivers for the Fermi.

If memory serves me well, there has been no support for 3 or 4 way SLI under XP since the 8800 and the configurations before then that worked were only through enormous amounts of work from NVIDIA to get around XP's driver model. To top it off, there was hardly any performance benefit and most their efforts were just to stop constant crashes. ATI faced similar issues and stopped their support with the 3000 series.

XP did a lot of things well, but multi-GPU was never really one of them.
