The only possible change would be Agility > Vertex, as the cost of $40 for much better un-compressible read performance. Everything else is pretty small changes.

Most data is compressible, so it's not really worth the $40, IMO.

Seems to me that this money might be better spent on a new GPU, depending on the OP's current mobo/CPU.

    Agreed, just raising the point
  • Currently i have
    E8400 CPu
    Again an Asus mobo
    2x2gb ddr2 ram
My PSU is a thermaltake tough power 750W
Well i am not doing heavy gaming and dont really bother on playing on full graphics so thats why i decided to stick with 460GT

So what do you need to upgrade for?

Maybe just toss in the SSD and call it a day?

He has Agility 3 up there.

I meant in his current system, instead of upgrading the whole system, just an option.

  • Putting an agility 3 on my current system is kind of a waste as it doesnt support sata3
Also i am in need of an extra PC cause of the cameras i am installing in my house (doing it for living) so instead of buying a dvr or a new pc decided to upgrade mine and use the parts to build the cameras PC (i already have a spare case with PSU and a GFX card).

Ahh, makes sense now, sounds like a good game plan. :)
  • Are you using the SSD for a system drive (windows, programs etc.)? You probably wont notice any difference between sata2 and sata3.
  • Using the SSD for the Operating system. Received the items in the weekend and installed them. Damn that ssd is fast :P
