intel i7 930 bloomfield safe Temp on load

what is the safe temp for intel i7 930 bloomfield?? i googled it some people say its 70 and some people say its 85.....


when i play games max temp was 79 Temp max and idle was 35

    my CPU gets to 81C playing battlefield 3.. should i do some thing about this Temp???

    I'm gonna recommend you either A: Get better airflow in the case or B: Get a better heatsink.

    My i7-950 @ 4.2GHz never gets past 65C

    That is a bit toasty. Does removing the side panel help with your temps?

    My fully loaded i7-2600K (not overclocked yet) doesn't get above 65C with two GPUs running full load also

    eh, I mean he probably does but some processor generations just ran hotter than others, no matter what you did, IE: prescott (OLOL PRESHOTT)

    its kinda odd how the heat programs work....

    Pc probe2 MAX heat is 65C
    speccy MAX heat is 74
    Real temp MAX heat is 81

    kinda lost

    seems like my stock fan is bad or some thing

    Tom's Hardware indicates H80 would be a good choice, though air cooling can achieve better/same results for cheaper, like a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo (or the Plus, it's little brother)
