The premised sounded badass. However, I will never, ever touch this game based on this review.
  • Wasn't there a Minecraft mod that did the same thing for free? I really feel like there was... Or maybe it was free to play browser game.

While free-to-play, there is little room for fun without purchasing some of the in-game items.
    Lost me there.

Nexon's games have a lot of in-game purchase, but you can have TONS of fun without having to buy a single thing.

There are multiple mods that added guns to Minecraft. Brick-Force may actually be the browser based game you are thinking of as it also has the option to play in browser.

I really wanted it to be what it was touted as. I will probably keep it installed and keep an eye on the updates. Maybe some day it will live up to its potential.

  • I have experienced none of the issues the writer has cited.
  • I find that the writer gave this game hardly any attention. He got on, ran into a few problems, and didn't even seem to PLAY the game itself. This is a review on how the waiting rooms and loading worked for him. This should have had more information on the mechanics of the game such as the game itself and different methods of gameplay (Defusion, CTF, Team DM, DM, etc.). This should also have had more information about the shop. Not everything is rental, and you can make enough that you can always have the rental items and just keep renewing them. There was no mention of different currencies or map building in depth (special bricks and their neat purposes). The writer didn't even have time to try out a sniper, close combat fight, grenades/boomers/solar flares, etc.

    Talk about bias!

As for the loading problems, those problems are rare and usually only last a couple of minutes. It probably was related to the map size.

Thanks for the feedback Steve and Taylerzy2. Admittedly I have not launched the game since my review but I put in many hours before writing this. As for features you say are different now, they may be different now but they were indeed as I described 3 months ago.

Maybe it is time to reinstall and give it another try.

    You didn't read.

    1) The review was written months ago.

    2) The problems were so bad that the game could not be played.

Given 1 and 2, how could the conclusion possibly be any different? Judging by your post history on other websites, it's clear that you're a big fan of this game, but you shouldn't let that blind you to the reality that this game evidently suffered from major issues when its own company sent it to game reviewers.
  • Or the blatant attempt to patch up bad reviews now by attacking the reviewer?
