xbox 360 halo 3 edition issues

I just Finished reapplied thermal paste to both the CPU & GPU. I did the x clamp mod a few weeks ago with success. It worked for a few weeks. A friend gave it to due to a msg that would appear on the screen ( invalid format ) but there would be sound no video.

    I just tried a different paste and it boot up normal but shortly after it turned a shade of pink.

    The antec formula 7 appears to have done it.

    the system is down agian. Well I'll just sell it for parts because the next thing to do is re-flow the gpu solder connections.

    Did this on my graphics card in my old computer, it still runs flawlessly at least a year later.

    If you get it hot enough to actually reflow the solder, it should last quite a while.

    I didn't want the IC's to come off and the caps are rated at 220f. This is what I did.
    260@11min
    Cool down @ 10min after each set
    170@15min
    320@3min
