Haven't been to Foran's in many years. I'd like to go back at ICSP.

Also, I missed out on every Honest John's trip during ICNY. No clue how I did that, but I want some fried mac and cheese wedges badly.

Also - you forgot to mention that Green Dot has Malort :)

I totally thought from the title that this was going to be instructions on where to find caches of food within ICHQ. Far less excited now.

I believe you're thinking of the food tour. Best. Game. Ever.

Finding stashes of food around Icrontic is easy.

Step 1: Stand at Island v2.0
    Step 2: ???
    Step 3: Eat what appears

The food disappears so quickly, though. I was hoping if we had different caches it would be easier to stake them out, less competition.

Added: Redsmoke BBQ & Alley Taco (my new favorites), Le Petite Zinc (how did we miss that?), New Center Eatery & Turkey Grill (Brian's new favorites), and Onassis (new staple).

Removed: St. Cece's (screw that place), Konbini delivery (gone).

Edited: Union Street (to recommend the Dragon Eggs to all), and Mudgie's (to more strongly recommend it).

What'd St. Caca's do this time?
  • Chiming in because I don't think it was stressed enough... FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD IN THIS WORLD... get the Mac & Cheese if you go to Red Smoke. It is the best I have ever tasted, and I have sampled many a mac & cheese. Not as many as Linc, but still.

I haven't been back since the Expo breakfast debacle. Just hadn't updated the list since then.

Had Mudgies for lunch today. The Mudgie and the Sho'Nuff are my favorite. So good. Also, the soup was delicious.

Boo, it's too bad I was poor when I lived in the D, I still gotta hit up all these places!
  • GnomeQueenGnomeQueen The Lulz Queen Mountain Dew Mouth Icrontian
Oh, I'd add for Green Dot-- don't go in a party more than 4.

Added "Groups over 4 expect long wait at peak times." to Motorcity Brewing & Green Dot. The trick with those two is to go mid-afternoon, like 4pm. You can do a group of 8 no problem then, and it's so worth it.

I'd specific for that--4pm on a weekday. 4pm at Greendot on a Saturday was a nightmare.
