Rogue One was amazing, significantly better than Force Awakens (Only good character was Finn rest of the movie was a meh rehash of ep 4)

Acting was stellar, CGI Tarkin creeped me out.

Robot K-2 was the best character, Monk man second best.

I much preferred the Force Awakens over Rogue One, but Rogue One was still pretty brilliant. I think a little of what threw me off was the beginning-- it starts off kind of messy-- felt tossed together and predictable. The CGI Tarkin was a bit over-utilized, too. When he's on screen enough times for you to completely analyze all of his CGI-ness, it's too much. I loved Chirrut Îmwe, Baze Malbus and K-2SO. I also definitely liked that it's so much grittier than the other Star Wars movies. It's a far more realistic, less mystical approach to the universe. Definitely a great submission to the Star Wars lexicon.

I figured Tarkin was aged down, I didn't realize he died 20 years ago. Fooled me! But I wasn't looking out for it.
