Its not stupid, unless you didn't do your homework and didn't know what she was going to do.
I feel bad for him. She may have been a psycho, or he may have been. Still feel for him though.

ok look, proposing at a basketball game... thats not very romantic. he should have expected her to not take it the way he wanted. if you're going to do something, do it right.

Awwwww. I wonder if anybody has the video feed.
man i would be crushed beyond all belief.
now the question arises if u ask a girl to marry you and she says no...does this mean that the relationship is over ??? i'm unclear of what supposed to go on

Well I suppose if you ask a question in public you get the answer in public.
I didn't see anything that confirmed a "NO"... she could have been in shock or something and just freaked out.
A romantic idea, but this time it came from a guy, and thus is of course flawed. I mean come'on guys... a basketball game???? WTF ARE YOU THINKING.... if I had the balls to do something like that with MANY people seeing, might as well do it like the chick flicks and romance/porn story books do it that all the women read and adore.
Or maybe she was a b-ball fanatic ;) and didn't like the poor sob.

Ah give the guy some credit.. He was trying to make it a memorable moment for them both. It doesnt sound like they talked about marriage much before this incident though..
.......
OR they did talk about it, and thebroad of course didn't want it and the bastardo didn't pay attention... this is just a theory ;)
j\k folks :D
