I just found out I'll be taking a weekend jaunt to DC for a client. I'll probably have some spare time to hang out on saturday night AND sunday night as my return flight isn't until monday afternoon.

Anybody care to show me the sights? I lived in DC for 2 months when I was 14 years old, so I haven't been back since. It's been 12 years, and I'm willing to bet that things have changed since then ;D

Ah... Grew up 30mins from there but I visited daily. Nice place to sight see. Even if you don't meet up with anyone, there are a lot of places to visit. 2 days just isn't enough :sad2:

Mostly things have changed because you can't take tours of anything cool anymore :(

oh well. I had fun without you all! ;)

Actually the trip mostly sucked. I worked way more than I originally planned on, and didn't get a chance to do ANY sightseeing or souvenir shopping whatsoever.

Since I carried nothing with me throughout the day, and I am familiar with the metro lines from having lived there, i was taken for a local and asked for directions at least three times a day. Problem being, it's been 12 years since I was last there and I gave this poor girl the wrong directions :( oopsie :)
