I have had reason to invoke PriceGrabber Buyer Protection, and found a few things that will leave me NEVER buying from a Pricegrabber Seller site again.

First, what you get for the fee loses you more than the fee if you invoke it.

Pricegrabber will refund purchase less $15.00 plus shipping to you, and base terms are that you pay shipping to Cyno-Sure the way the Pricegrabber Buyer Protection is being enforced now.

so, lets see....

I spent $263.98 plus pricegrabber buyer Protection fee plus shipping for two packs of what were supposed to be XP Pro OEM system Builder packs. I got 2 CDs with what look to be XP Pro on them, but no COA and what look to be Key-gened Auth keys. I purchased through Price grabber, paid by PayPal. Seller glob2000 is the seller on Pricegrabber.Pricegrabber has not vetted this seller so far as I can find out, and I am told by CynoSure Finanical that there is no way Pricegrabber CAN vet things sold by its sellers-- WRONG! They just DON'T.

If I were to accept CynoSure's offer, I would end up out the following:

10 hours of time documenting problem, seller's location in actuality, what got shipped versus what was ordered, and sent CynoSure about 15 pages of docs relating to the sale. no CynoSure tells me they will not compensate for my shipping to me, and I have to send merchandise back at my cost. The 10 hours I spent, I cannot make any money while doing that stuff.

My losses actual are about 1.85 times the purchase price stated above. At this time, I am considering a Tort suit against Pricegrabber and CynoSure. I WILL be filing an FBI Internet Fraud report.

Please be careful out there, and read the fine print on anything you buy-- including so called buyer protection. Assume anything not in offer of protection will be something you will have to fight for. Know also, that the FBI typically does not proceed against one or two item frauds unless pressured greatly to do so-- they need more larger fraud to be able to afford to proceed. I will be posting this MANY places, and have the paperwork, packaging, invoices, emails, etc handy to PROVE what I say is true.
