What are some topics that you would all want to see in a webshow? Other than "dirty" stuff

I kinda like Tim's webshow (http://www.loudmouthtim.com). He mainly just talks about whatever is on his mind. I may or may not agree with it, but it's normally fun to watch. He keeps it short too so that one doesn't become bored.

Yeah it's good but what topics would YOU ALL like to see covered? If any at all.

Quite possibly my favorite topic of all: politics. :)

that one seems like a lose-lose situation, tick off half the viewers then they don't watch anymore.

But I guess a G. W. Bush sponsered Spelling B or communications class would be a good one! :smiles:

A copy of hooked on phonics would probably be a welcomed gift for my favorite president. :)

You could talk about things that bother you, or things that you like. Perhaps things you've seen that are funny or stupid. Jay Leno used to (probably still does) do a skit called "Headlines" where he would read some stupid thing from the newspaper. I'm not saying do that, but find something that no one else is doing (no one else was doing that--not that I know of anyway) and run with it.

What interests YOU ALL more: comedy, documentaries, other?

C'mon people. Give the guy a bone! :)

Tim's in PA, I think. Maybe you two could work together. :) Double up the money so that his show doesn't look like it's produced in a dungeon.

Yeah, Tim's about 10 minutes away, and these ideas ARE FOR HIS SHOW. Speak it up, spit it out.

Thanks A2

yeah that should go over well with the children, might as well invite George Carlin to run a moral standards daycare center too.

Aside from buying the camera and computer equipment, I think that the only money ever invested in making a show is the gas money to drive the car to the filming locations.

It's about as low budget as it gets! Many shows have been filmed in my kitchen because it was nighttime, too cold outside, or because it was there right next to the computer. And relatively easy to light. Lighting is a huge headache.

a2jfreak is right about me keeping the shows short. Before I started making my show, I watched many others, and it doesn't take long (about 6-7 minutes) before the shows become too long, unless it's a really good episode like my #39.

That's Scuff playing the guitar in #39.

There have been a lot of times when I'd start editing with 8-12 minutes of video, and then it gets cut to 4-6 minutes because I don't want it to drag out too long. The extra filming is usually repeated and different versions of the startings and endings of the shows.
