View Full Version : Glass and Rock
As most of you may remember, I spent a couple of weeks in London over the winter.
My Travelog is finally up for those who are interested:

Very nice review CB, I've been to London several times. I take my kids for their 12th birthday, Just me and the birthday kid, for a day. We 'do' the Tower, Buck house, The Abbey and a couple of museums. A very full and long day out.
Triangles and circles.
I like the idea of American citys being planned in blocks, seems perfectly logical to me. Our citys are older and are 'evolved' rather than planned and are probably much easier to get lost in. I think most of them started when somebody stopped on a Roman road by a river and built a gift shop.
Interesting read, Thanks.

CB:
I read your travelogue while I myself was in a different city. It was pretty cool because a lot of the thoughts you described were in a strange sort of synch with my thoughts about being in a different place. Of course Washington DC is not nearly as "foreign" as London, but it's still considerably different from Detroit. Thanks for posting it, it really put a different twist on things for me :)
