Ad-aware vs Spybot S&D

Flexbeta has up a comparison article looking at Ad-aware and Spybot S&D, two of the most popular anti-spyware applications.

I tested both Ad-aware and Spybot S&D (short for Search and Destroy) under Windows 2000 Professional running on a virtual pc courtesy of VMWare Workstation. Twenty eight applications known to contain spyware and adware were installed. The components that were installed are listed below with links to information about their involvement with spyware/adware.

i love firefox 3 months without scanning and 0 problems using both Adware and spybot:)

I use both. I cant seem to get Spybot to updatre sometimes at home tho.
