AMD's DTR (Desktop replacement) Athlon 64-3200+ CPU's have been seen in retail recently. They differ from other 64-bit AMD products and are designed for powerful mobile workstations.

According to our Japanese source, these processors have lower energy per time unit value of 81.5W (vs. 89W of a usual Athlon 64-3200+ and 62W of Mobile Athlon 64). Therefore, the price of DTR Athlon 64-3200+ in Japan is ¥3800 ($35) higher than that of its desktop bro.
