Here's a big bit of juicy gossip to throw on the rumour mill on a Monday, courtesy of Dave Baumann at Beyond3D, who spotted the below quoted post on ATI's section of the Yahoo! finance boards.

ATI TECHNOLOGIES INC. (ATYT)
May seek to merge with or acquire a graphics unit of Taiwan's Silicon Integrated Systems Corp., according to a report in the Economic Daily News.

The merge would be great. Disregarding the AOL-TW aquisitions, most tend to work out fine.

Has any of their boards even been released? What happened? They just kinda flopped out.. Must be that SiS curse. Hopefully ATi's mojo cancels it out and they won't hurt ATi :D
