Calling all scsi experts. Is this drive any good

I've inherited a Seagate ST39102LC 10k 9.1 GB Ultra LVD SCA hard drive and wondered if its any good and what controller card I'd need to run it.

So is it worth it & are they fast or is it too old to be any good for anything?

I know nothing about scsi drives & set ups so I need your help & opinions

access time is a little faster thena new ide drive but teh sustained transfer rate is well under fifty percent of a new maxtor 8mb cache ide.
